Federica De Iuliis is Researcher (article 24, paragraph 3, lett. A, Law 240/2010) at the Department of Law, Political and International Studies of the University of Parma. She obtained the National Scientific Qualification for the functions of Associate professor for Roman law and rights of antiquity (Call D.D. 1532/2016) with unanimous vote of the Commission of selection. Graduated cum laude in Law at the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna, she is a PhD in Roman Law and Comparative Method. Professor of Matter for the Romanistic teachings of the Department of Jurisprudence at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (since January 2000), she was holder of a Research Grant in the SSD IUS/18 Roman law and antiquity rights for one year in the Department of Jurisprudence of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (until April 2005), of Scholarship for carrying out research in the Department of Law of the University of Parma (until March 2012) and Research Fellow for five consecutive years at the Department of Jurisprudence, Political and International Studies at the University of Parma (until January 2019). Lecturer in official teaching of Methods and Techniques of Roman Jurisprudence in the Master's Degree Program at the Department of Law of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia for six academic years (starting from the academic year 2012/2013), he has lectured in the Masters in Cultural Tourism of the Territories of the University of Parma (ay 2017/2018), and, therein, in the School of Specialization in Legal Professions in the Department of Law, Political and international studies (from the academic year 2015/2016 to the 2017/2018 academic year). She gave speeches at Symposia and Study Meetings, and was a speaker at the Postgraduate Conference Limes: a space for division and contact. Profiles of the late antique period at the University of Parma (2015). She is Coordinator of the Scientific Secretariat of LR-Legal Roots magazine. The International Journal of Roman Law, Legal History and Comparative Law and the Executive Board of the connected thematic network ELR-European Legal Roots, europeanlegalroots.weebly.com (from 2016); also, Member of the Editorial Committee of the Quaderni Lupiensi magazine on History and Law (from the year 2018).She is Member of: International Association of Late Antique Studies; Italian Society of the History of Law; Constantinian Historical-Juridical Academy. The research interests are mainly aimed at the study of Roman private law and process, of the jurisprudential methodology and of public profiles of Late Roman antiquity.
