SPORTS IN DIFFERENT AGES
Learning outcomes of the course unit
The course aims to provide students with: - ability to choose and use the main training methods for the different motor skills differentiating the load based on individual performance and types of sports by age and gender - ability to choose loads of training to improve performance - knowledge of the technical characteristics of the exercises and the practice for strength training in different age groups – knowlrdge of the technical principles of gymnastics.

Speed and rapidity skills.
- Factors conditioning the performances and their diverse adaptations resulting from the different types of training, their correlations with skill and power, according to different age groups
- The evolution during the life of the different endurance, strength, speed skills and gender’s differences.
- Means, methods and evaluation of training.
- The motor patterns and learning phases.
