Integrated course unit module: NEUROLOGY

Learning objectives

Students will learn the various imaging procedures and indications. They will also learn how to establish a diagnosis for the different CNS and PNS disorders and how to evaluate risks, costs and benefits of diagnostic imaging techniques.

Course unit content

A basic review of neuroimaging interpretation of CT (brain and spine) and MRI (brain and spine) scans. Functional MRI. Angiography. Neuroimaging: CNS and PNS diagnostic procedures.
