Course contents summary
Organogenesis of the skull, neck, trunk and limbs, concepts of metamery.
General morphology of the human body and its constitutional variations.
General overview of the bones, joints, ligaments, skeletal muscles and fasciae.
General characteristics of the skull, sutures and fontanelles, bone sinuses, main anthropometric points.
Anterior surface of the skull: orbitary, nasal, buccal cavities; frontal and maxillary sinuses, mimic muscles of the face and fasciae.
Side surface of the skull: sphenoid and temporal bones, temporo-mandibular joint, facial muscles and fasciae.
Back surface of the skull: occipital bone, atlo-occipital joint, posterior muscles of the neck and fascie.
Vault of skull: external and internal suface, with references to mucles, fasciae, meninges, venous sinuses.
Base of the skull: external and internal surface, with references to cranial fossae, sphenoid sinuses, meninges, neck muscles and fasciae, vessels and nerves that transit the different foramina, neck viscera.
General aspects of the arterial, venous and lymphatic vascularisation, and on the somatic and visceral innervation of the cranium.
References to clinical anatomy of the facial and cranial spaces reconstruction.
Vertebral column: bones, joints, ligaments, extensors, flexors and rotators muscles.
Thorax: bones, joints and intrinsic muscles.
Shoulder girdle: scapula, clavicle, joints and muscles of the shoulder girdle, muscles of the joint of the shoulder, articular muscles.
Pelvis: bones, joints and muscles of the pelvis. Abdominal wall muscles.
Coxo-femoral joint.
Superior limb and inferior limb: bones, joints and muscles.
Regional Anatomy: inguino-abdominal region (inguinal canal), inguino-femoral region.
