Integrated course unit module: GENERAL AND SPECIALIST PEDIATRICS (ATT)

Learning objectives

The student will known and understand to achieve a complete knowledge in etiology, clinical, diagnostic, therapy of the main gastroenterological, infectious, cardiac, respiratoy, urinary and orthopaedic diseases in children. The student will known and understand basic knowledges of pediatric praxis especially in cases of urgency, and basic priciples of digestive endoscopy in pediatric age.

Prerequisites

The student must have succeeded in Pharmacology exam

Course unit content

Main chromosomal and metabolic disorders; diabetes; main gastroenterological diseases in children; infectious diseases of urinary and respiratory tract; asthma and cystic fibrosis; main cardiac, haematological and orthopedic diseases; endocrinological growth disorders; strabismus; objective neurological examination and epilepsy in children.
