HYGIENE AND INFECTIOUS DISEASE PREVENTION MEASURES
Learning outcomes of the course unit
The course aims to give the student the basic concepts about zoonoses, with particular reference to zoonoses of zootechnic interest and of food origin, and about animal health, with the study of the main infections of productive animals and of the main methods of controlling diseases, together with a study of the main legislation in force. At the end of the course the student should have acquired competence in applying measures of prevention and control to diseases of zoonotic origin in general, to the zoonoses dealt with in particular and to the main diseases of productive animals that are the subject of the course.
