Learning outcomes of the course unit
The aim of the class is to supply general design principles and feasibility criteria regarding Industrial and Mechanical Plants. In particular its focus is on both production systems and industrial utility plants in order to achieve the economical goals.

Industrial plant design, construction planning and control: feasibility study.
Classification of manufacturing production systems.
Constrained production systems and unconstrained production systems.
