Learning outcomes of the course unit
The student should acquire sufficient informations to judge his professional activity from a legal and ethic point of view with particular reference to criminal and civil aspects.
Course contents summary
The first classes of the course are general topics. Will cover topics such as the sources of law, criminal law general part with reference to institutions such as the objective element and a subjective offense, the causal link, the causes of justification, the attempt and the apportionment. The second part of the course is devoted to the discussion of the special part of criminal law, limited to items of medical-dental. In addition, institutions of civil law will be treated as disqualification, disqualification and administrator support.
The third part of the course covers the medical record and its compilation, civil and criminal liability of the doctor-dentist, informed consent, as well as the rules of ethics governing the profession
