DEFINITION AND AIMS OF HYGIENE. - GENERAL EPIDEMIOLOGY OF INFECTIOUS DISEASES. - MEANS AND STRATEGIES OF PREVENTION – PRIMARY, SECONDARY AND TERTIARY PREVENTION – ACTIVE IMMUNE PROPHYLAXIS(VACCINES) - PASSIVE IMMUNE PROPHYLAXIS. CHEMOPROPHYLAXIS.
General epidemiology: the importance of infectious diseases up-to-date, the host-guest relationship, infection reservoir, transmission mode, outspread of infectious diseases in population.
General prevention: notification,default measures, diagnosis of infectious diseases, sterilization, disinfection and disinfestation, vaccine prevention, types of vaccines, strategies and vaccine schedules, passive immunoprophylaxis and chemoprophylaxis
