HISTORY OF ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN
Learning outcomes of the course unit
This course has been designed to provide information about architecture and design projects, as well as about the historiographic debate involving architecture and design in the 20th century. The second part of the course will take a detailed look at a number of issues through the analysis of the selected case study: exhibitions and exhibit design.
Course contents summary
The history of architecture and design course includes an instructional phase that involves classroom lectures and a seminar phase in which the history of international exhibitions and history of exhibition design and production is examined, including through readings in methodology.
The reading list will be provided at the beginning of the course on the basis of the course of study established with the students.
The course will include classroom lectures, seminars and field trips.
