Types of variables; data synthesis; frequency distributions; graphic representations; numerical measurements; measures of central tendency; mean; median; mode; quantiles and percentiles; dispersion measures; variation interval (range); interquartile range; variance; standard deviation; variation coefficient <br />
INFERENTIAL STATISTICS <br />
Probability; theoretical probability distributions; normal distribution and standard normal distribution; <br />
Forms of statistical inference: hypothesis verification and interval estimation <br />
Sampling distributions; sampling distribution of the mean; Student’s t distribution; standard deviation and standard error; <br />

Confidence intervals; hypothesis verification; null hypothesis and alternative hypothesis; levels of significance; unilateral or bilateral test (one-tailed or two-tailed); the p value; significance decision; types of errors in the hypothesis test; errors to be avoided <br />
