Learning outcomes of the course unit
The purpose is to make students familiar eith the two languages from their old stage until Modern Age.References to the actual stand of both languages are possible.
Command, it may be also only passive, of both languages and knowledge of the Germanic Linguistics.
Course contents summary
The two courses are concerned with the History of the German and the English languages, beginning from their origines until to Modern Age.
This program can also be integred with general lectures about languages and compratative germanic philology.
For the German Language: Sandra Bosco-oletsos, Storioa della lingua tedesca, Rosenberg & Sellier, Torino, until to the Capitel about Linguistic Academies in germany.
For English: Nicoletta francovich-Onesti, Breve Storia della lingue inglese, carocci, Roma. To be studied completely caude it is only a short book
Fronta lectures. Exercises can also be included.
