LABORATORY FOR MECHANICAL TECHNOLOGY
Learning outcomes of the course unit
The class is concerned with CNC (Computerized Numerical Control) machine tools programming for tool path generation, with particular attention to 3 and 5 axes milling. The class will feature manual programming with ISO G-code, computer-assisted programming with CAD/CAM systems, and the operation of a 5 axes CNC milling machine.
