Learning objectives
Educational goals of the course<br />The student is expected to acquire the means to be able to formulate the diagnosis and treatment of the most<br />common children¿s odontostomatologic diseases, offering a broad spectrum of specialist healthcare, <br />appropriate and efficacious in the dental care of children, adolescents and patients with associated diseases. <br />Particular emphasis is placed on preventive techniques, the clinical evaluation of dysplasia and<br />the treatment of traumas.<br />

<br /> <br />Examination of the oral cavity<br />Dental eruption: Local, systemic and congenital factors that affect the process<br />Acquired disorders and the development of the teeth and oral structures<br />Dental caries in the child and adolescent:<br />risk factors,<br />early childhood caries<br />oral hygiene at home<br />nutrition<br />fluorine prophylaxis<br />sealing of pits and fissures<br />conservative and endodontic treatment of deciduous teeth and young permanent teeth<br />Dental traumas<br />Disabled children and odontostomatologic diseases <br />Negligence and mistreatment of children<br />
