Integrated course unit module: GYNECOLOGY AND OBSTETRICS

Learning objectives

The main purpose of the course of gynecology and obstetrics is to enable students to frame the woman health especially in relation to general health. The primary purpose is to propose, therefore, the problems that both obstetric gynecological in relation to the general medicine

Prerequisites

Course unit content

Endometrial biopsy, celioscopy, revision of the uterine cavity, amniocentesis
Ultrasound during pregnancy
Labor in childbirth, natural childbirth, episiotomy and episioraffia, cesarean
colposcopy
Place the essential questions to detect the normal and abnormal physiology of women in various stages of life
Perform physical examination of the breast. Provide advice on hygiene feminine
Collect history for gynecological and obstetrical problems, perform physical examination of the external genitalia
Provide information on contraceptive methods, provide information on prevention of tumors of the female genital
Perform sampling and its pap smear test
Make (on mannequin) gynecological
