- Principles of drug action.
- Classes of receptors and mechanisms of modulation of receptor-mediated responses.
- Quantitation of drug-receptor interactions and elicited response.
- Pharmacology of gene transcription.
- Examples of biotechnology-derived drugs (enzymes, hormones, cytokines, monoclonal antibodies).
