Learning outcomes of the course unit
The course objectives are to provide the theoretical and practical skills required to know and recognize the most important internal diseases of domestic animals
Course contents summary
Diseases of the kidney. Diseases of the ureters, bladder and urethra. Major diseases of the pituitary, thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal and endocrine pancreas.
Ketosis, tetanie, hypocalcaemia and eclampsie puerperal, puerperal haemoglobinuria.
Distrofic, toxic and inflammatory myopathies. Rickets, osteomalacia, osteofibrosis, osteoporosis. Congenital disorders of bone.
Primary skin lesions. Disorders of sweat glands and sebaceous glands. Dermatosis and dermatitis.
Diseases of central and periferal nervous system.
