Learning objectives

To reach a correct approach to the surgical patient. To be acquainted with the most frequent surgical diseases and with the  pathologies commonly observed during pregnancy

Examinations of the preceeding year to be passed

<br />1. Brief summary of abdominal anatomy and physiology<br />2. Anamnesis, objective examination, instrumental diagnosis<br />3. Abdominal pain and acute abdomen<br />4. Peritonitis<br />5. Intestinal obstruction<br />6. Hypovolemic, cardiogen, septic shock<br />7. Jaundice<br />8. Cholecystolithiasis and complications (acute cholecystitis, pancreatitis, etc.)<br />9. Hiatus hernia and abdominal hernia (inguinal and crural)<br />10. Piles and anal disease<br />11. Varices<br />12. Acute appendicitis<br />13. Acute diverticulitis<br />14. Wound healing<br />15.
