Learning objectives

<br />To provide the students with a basic knowledge on the following subjects:<br />1. Physiological changes and main surgical problems occurring in pregnancy;<br />2. General principles in pharmacokinetics and mechanism of action of drugs. Drug toxicity during pregnancy. Main drugs used in pregnancy, during labour and delivery, in the postpartum and for other pregnancy-related diseases.<br />3. Main anaesthesiological and analgesic technics in obstetrics.<br />4. Operative theatre: setting, equipment and health risk factors.

Prerequisites

Examinations of the preceeding year have to be passed
