Learning outcomes of the course unit
Provide information to students and clinical methods of reasoning required for recognition and interpretation of the main symptoms and signs of general surgery, according to propaedeutic surgical clinic.
Course contents summary
Clinical methodology: the reasoning clinical and diagnostic assumptions. Semeiotics history and physical (general); role of semeiotics instrumental. The biological response to events aggressive (stress and shock). Interpretation of the main gastrointestinal symptoms. Semeiologica interpretation of digestive bleeding. Semeiotics and pathophysiology of jaundice and cholestasis. Homeostasis heat and fever.
