Learning outcomes of the course unit
Help students to have a multidisciplinary vision of some items of public health
Course contents summary
Six inter-disciplinary lessonson:
1) Nutritional needs in children , in adults and in the elderly;
2) Pharmacological and surgical therapy of obesity in children in adults and in the elderly;
3) Nutrition and cardiovascular diseases;
4) Parenteral nutrition (pediatrician, surgeon, internist, geriatrician, risuscitator);
5) Health problems in immigrants (pediatrician, gynecologist, internist, surgeon);
6) Physician’s approach in the care of patient health (medical examiner, surgeon, internist, pediatrician, gynaecologist, neurologist, geriatrician, etc.)
