Learning objectives

<br />The principle aim of the course is to concentrate mainly on the applied aspects of anatomy; in this way they will have useful knowledge that will help them deal with the clinical and investigative branches of medicine.

Prerequisites

<br />The Topographic Anatomy exam is a prerequisite to the examinations in Embryology, Histology and Anatomy

<br />The Topographic Anatomy course covers: Regional Anatomy, Visceral Topography, concepts of Bird, Fish and Reptile Anatomy

Teaching methods

Teaching methods involve classroom lectures and practical activities. The latter will be carried out both with live animals and cadavers, and students will personally perform dissections as well as evaluations of the topography of the various types of viscera.
