Course contents summary
The Course provides students with the essential concepts of Veterinary Chemotherapy, with particular emphasis on the mechanisms of action of antiseptic drugs and disinfectants as well as that of antibacterial, antifungal, antiparassitic and antumoral agents. The student will be expected to recognise the sensitivity of the drugs to pathogenic agents and resistance mechanisms

The recommended text is a Pharmacology and Veterinary Therapy text. Students only need to study the parts regarding chemotherapy . The students are, however, reminded that the text must be integrated with classroom lectures.
