Provide the student with up-to-date knowledge on the rational and correct use of drugs
Provide the student with up-to-date knowledge on intoxication and how to intervene in the correct way

Course contents summary
The aim of the Course is to provide students of the Advanced Degree in Veterinary Medicine with information on pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics, general and special pharmacology of the main molecules and active ingredients of veterinary interest. Additionally, the Course will examine the main toxic substances and their mechanisms of action, with reference both to domestic animals and to animals of zootechnical interest
