Integrated course unit module: CHILDHOOD PATHOLOGY

Learning objectives

The student is expected to acquire the means to be able to formulate the diagnosis and define treatment for the most common children’s odontostomatological diseases, offering a broad spectrum of specialist healthcare, appropriate and efficacious in the dental care of children, adolescents and patients with associated diseases. Particular emphasis will be placed on prevention techniques, clinical assessment and treatment of traumas.

Students must have passed all the examinations of the previous years

-Breastfeeding.
-The power supply in the first year of life.
-Neonatal infections.
-Respiratory Disease in the newborn (RDS
-Pathology Neurology of pre-term
-Semeiotics pediatric pulmonary
-Pneumonia and bronchiolitis
-Asthma
-Cystic Fibrosis
-Pathology naso-pharyngeal acute and chronic
-Diagnosis and treatment of DM onset in childhood
-Pathophysiology and clinical in major congenital heart disease
-Cardiomyopathies
-Main autosomal chromosome abnormalities and gonosomiche
-Enteritis acute, chronic malabsorption and various
-Inflammatory bowel disease

-Glomerulonephritis and nephrosis
