provide Students with knowledge regarding the techniques used in reconstructive plastic surgery using alloplasts and tissue expansion

Prerequisites

Plastic surgery requires combining formal teaching methods with interactive practical demonstrations.

For the reconstruction of some wounds such as those resulting from burns or such as the post-traumatic scars, plastic surgeons make use of some alloplasts (e.g. tissue expanders, fillers, etc…). The different surgical techniques as well as the filling of expanders are illustrated.
