Learning outcomes of the course unit
This integrated course is designed to provide fundamental concepts of statistics, informatics and physics. These elements will be used to better understand the methods and the instruments of a biomedical laboratory.

Introduction to Informatics. MS-Word. Use of programs for an effective presentation of data. Archives. Excel. Internet: telnet and FTP
Metodology of clinical trials and biomedical research project; use of statistical sofware for elaboration of data
Basic principles of mechanics, kinematics and dynamics. Work and energy. Statics and dynamics of fluids with several examples on biomedical applications
