The part of the course (2 credits), whose lecturer is Prof. Delsignore, focuses on the fundamentals of workplace safety laws. <br />
<br />
The course in workplace safety law is designed to give the student the topics that regulate criminal, civil and administrative liability, besides the elements of crime theory. This last matter includes in particular negligence and causation in the law analysis. <br />
<br />
Afterwards the course will deal with the main statutes and rules that regulate workplace safety and health issues and will briefly analyse how to identify the liable, the liable by proxy, and the corporate liability for this crimes. An analysis of some leading criminal cases will allow the student to better figure out how to manage what he has just learnt. <br />
