Know the pathogenic mechanisms of the main osteoarticular diseases -inflammatory, degenerative and those caused by a metabolic disorder and theirclinical manifestations.
Recognise their repercussions and implications are inphysical activity.
Know which rheumatic diseases can be aggravated by, orbenefit from, physical activity.
Know which physical activities (both amateur andcompetitive) entail greater engagement of the osteoarticular system.
