Learning outcomes of the course unit
Students are expected to have knowledge of the basic elements of diseases treated during the course and be prepared to use such knowledge with a view to improving their professional skills.
Prior knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology, Histology and General Pathology is recommended.
Course contents summary
The most important topics relative to surgical vascular pathology are covered; these include:
obstructive chronic peripheral arteriopathy;
peripheral acute ischemic syndromes
notes and handouts on the topics covered in the lectures
Classroom lectures backed up by multimedia audiovisual aids and dialogue during the lessons themselves with a view to providing explanations and carrying out an initial assessment of the students’ learning.
