<p>Exergy analysis. Dead state. Physical exergy, chemical exergy, exergy balance of closed and open systems. Physical exergy of an ideal gas. Exergy destruction caused by heat transfer and by friction. Applications. </p>
<p>Thermoeconomic analysis. Exergy costing: costs associated with fuel and product, costing of exergy loss and of exergy destruction. Auxiliary relations. Aggregation level for application of exergy costing. Applications. </p>
