Course contents summary
Geodesy: reference and coordinate systems, geoid and ellipsoid, datum transformation. Map projections. Maps and map use. Surveying instruments: theodolites and levels. Methods and measurements techniques for height and horizontal positioning. GPS. Network design. Adjustment theory: error propagation, net adjustment, blunder detection, tests for detection of displacements. Application of surveying to civil engineering
