Development of the trilith system from wooden temples to the Parthenon. Overview of the static behaviour of arched structures. Roman architecture: building types and construction techniques. Byzantine architecture: case study: St. Sofia. Evolution of the roofing of the basilica ( from trussed roof to cross vault Cupolas: roofing of centre-plan buildings . Iron age: from cast iron column to steel sheet. Concrete and reinforced concrete : experimentation and realisation in the 1800 and 1900s
