Course contents summary
Course title: Literary revolts and turning points in the early twentieth century (second series).
The course is structured in two sub-modules.
Sub-module SP.1: picking up from the exploration begun during the 2007-2008 course, the sub-module will examine other representative samples of early-twentieth-century creative writing, taking into consideration authors, groups and movements of relevance to identifying and defining the twentieth-century literary renewal.
Sub-module SP.2: the sub-module will examine a number of topics more closely, both through a more wide-ranging analytical exploration and further authors/texts.
A reading list for both sub-modules (literary texts and literary-historical and critical supporting materials) will be provided during the course.
Eventually the actual amount of reading matter for the module and a definitive reading list will be published.
Classroom lectures alternating with individual exercises.
