Learning objectives

The course was designed with the objective of giving translators the foundations for their skills in the Spanish language. In practical terms, the course is subdivided into two units, as follows: <br />
-Unit A (5 credits), dedicated to the institutional and theoretical area of Spanish linguistic studies. <br />
-Unit B (5 credits) is a specialist area of study focusing on the analysis and translation of texts by established writers. <br />
Linguistic exercises will be held during both the six-month periods. <br />

Course unit content

A series of different types of texts will be studied in order to develop skills in recognising and solving problems regarding translation between two similar languages, by means of the linguistic contrastive analysis of Italian and Spanish. <br />
