Course unit content
<br />Vectorial and tensorial algebra. Mechanics of continuos media, stress and strain tensor.Fluid dynamics, Reynolds' transport theorem, pressur tensor. Mechanics of fluid motion. Equation of continuity. Euler's equation of an ideal fluid. Viscosity, Newtonian fluid and Navier-Stokes equations. Some typical problems of fluid mechanics.<br />
