National and regional EIA procedures.
Writing an Environmental Impact Study. Use of technical regulations (Presidential decree 27 December 1988).
The importance of environmental, project planning and case study frameworks.
Assessing the impact on ecosystems. Qualitative forecast models. Evaluation instruments: matrices, networks and checklists.

The course will be in the form of lectures and case studies. Lectures will be presented using Power Point while case studies will be carried out in working groups which will analyse environment impact studies lodged with the appropriate bodies.
