Learning objectives
The course will provide basic knowledge of geographical information systems and the techniques used in numerical cartography.
After an initial phase of theory lessons, the course will focus on ArcGis instruments through interactive exercises.
ArcGis is the most widely used application by geographical bodies and technical offices. These occupational fields require an ever-greater number of people able to operate GIS systems for Geographic Information System management.
The abilities acquired during the course will allow students to consult georeferenced data, create theme maps, carry out complex geographical analyses and produce detailed maps.
