Learning objectives
The aim of the course is to provide students with the fundamental knowledge required for detecting and analysing deformations of the sedimentary covers , on both macro- and meso-scales. Students will learn to perform a structural survey, on a macro- and meso-scale, and analyse the deformations observed.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of stratigraphy, structural geology and tectonics
Course unit content

Field activities with macro- and mesostructural surveys along a normal fault zone.
Field activities with macro- and mesostructural surveys of soft sediments deformation.
Analysis and processing of the data from the field surveys.Realisation of a geological-structural map with relative geological relation.
