Provide basic knowledge on the fundamental concepts, terminology and implications of various side disciplines touching upon Biotechnology and its multifaceted applications.

Selected topics in the fields of economics, law, bioethics, foreign language/communication, and informatics, relevant to Biotechnology and its applications.
Seminars by outside speakers with specific expertise in the fields of interest (followed by multiple-choice questionnaire evaluation), written essays, round-table discussions on issues related to the thesis work.
