Measurements of UV-VIS absorption spectra of organic dyes; analysis and interpretation of the spectra using the quantum model of the particle in a box.
Vibrational and Rotational structure of molecules
Measurements of HCl roto-vibrational spectra
Measurements of IR spectra of simple polyatomic molecules; analysis and interpretation of the spectra using group theory.
Semiempirical methods for pi-conjugated systems: Hückel approximation.
Calculation of the potential energy curve of HCl using ab-initio quantum chemistry methods.
