GENERAL AND INORGANIC CHEMISTRY
Learning outcomes of the course unit
The course has the purpose to introduce the students in the language of
chemistry. Students must have knowledge of
the description of molecules isolated and in their
different aggregation states, as well as the correlation between the
macroscopic properties and the microscopic structure. Moreover, they have to
acquire knowledge of the chemical equilibrium concept and of the kinetic and
thermodinamic description of a process.

The solid state. The gaseous state.
The liquid state. The solutions.
The chemical equilibrium. Equilibria among phases.
Ionic equilibria in solution.
Chemical kinetics. Elettrochemistry.
