Acquisition of useful legislative knowledge in relation to the definition of food quality and safety management protocols
Course contents summary
The lectures will include examination of and comment on provisions regarding:-Food offences and crimes; control bodies, sampling, analysis revision; White Paper and EC Regulation no. 178/2002; the 2004 EC "hygiene package"; foods containing GMOs; by-products of animal origin; special foods and infant foods; organic produce.
