Learning objectives

The student must be able to validate and correctly interpret the results of tests used both for the purpose of clinical diagnostics as well as for screening operations on animal populations

Course unit content

Interpretation and validation (sensitivity, specificity, concordance, R.O.C. curves) of serological tests used in clinical diagnostics and in population screening, with computerized simulations.
