Learning outcomes of the course unit
The student must be able to validate and correctly interpret the results of tests used both for the purpose of clinical diagnostics as well as for screening operations on animal populations.
Course contents summary
Interpretation and validation (sensitivity, specificity, concordance, R.O.C. curves) of serological tests used in clinical diagnostics and in population screening, with computerized simulations.
