Learning objectives

During the course students are expected to acquire the fundamental notions of surgical pathology required for the subsequent study of surgery-related subjects.

Prerequisites

All courses specified by the faculty’s teaching regulations.

Course unit content

The course aims to identify and examine the most common diseases of surgical interest affecting our animals, including post-traumatic conditions, malformations and deformities, heterotopies, ectopies and paratopes, as well as diseases of the skin, bones, tendons, ligaments, muscles, joints and nerves.
