Integrated course unit module: PATHOLOGICAL ANATOMY I

Learning objectives

Aim of the course is to provide the ethiological and anatompathological aspects of the main diseases of the bones and joints in domestic animals.

Prerequisites

General Pathology, animal physiopathology, veterinary immunopathology

Course unit content

Lecturer. Prof. Paolo Borghetti (1 CFU: 15 hours)
<p> 1) Bone pathology. abnormalities of the development; metabolic disease of the bone; inflammatory diseases of the bone. Neoplasia.</p>
<p>1) Joint pathology: degenerative joint disease (Osteoarthritis); development disturbances of the joints (Osteochondrosi, Hip dysplasia); inflammatory diseases of the joints; tumors of  the joints.   </p>
