Provide the students with knowledge on the xenobiotics used in Veterinary Medicine.

<br />The Course provides students with the essential concepts of Veterinary Chemotherapy, with particular emphasis on the mechanisms of action of antiseptic drugs and disinfectants as well as that of antibacterial, antifungal, antiparassitic and antumoral agents. The student will be expected to recognise the sensitivity of the drugs to pathogenic agents and resistance mechanisms
