Learning objectives

The aim of the course is for the students to acquire the practical application and the interpretation of the main methods applied in the bacteriological and virological diagnosis of infectious animal diseases.

Course unit content

During the course, students will attend the Division of Infectious Diseases of Animals and will have the opportunity to perform some practical activities regarding: <br />
• bacteriological and virological diagnosis of some of the most important infectious animal diseases. <br />
• setting up and interpretation of serological tests used both for diagnostic goals and for population screening purposes <br />
