Integrated course unit module: INTERNAL MEDICINE AND PATIENT CLINICAL MANAGEMENT

Learning objectives

To provide students with information useful for the elaboration of a differential diagnosis which considers the role of food in the onset and course of pathologies affected by it.

Prerequisites

Students are required to have passed the Food Nutrition and Feed Technology exam.

Course unit content

Nutritional factors which can affect the health of animals being breed will be considered, particularly pets. <br />
Factors which can positively and/or negatively condition the functioning of the gastroenterico apparatus and intestinal microbiotics will also be explored. <br />
